A record number of equipment manufacturing industry companies were recognized for their outstanding commitment to advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry at the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers’ recent annual conference.
According to sales figures form the Assn. of Equipment manufacturers, U.S. sales of under 40 horsepower tractors in August were up 9.9% year-to-date. Canadian sales were up 26% year-to-date.
According to published reports, a federal judge has ruled that the state of North Dakota cannot enforce “or institute an action for any alleged violation” of a new law designed to protect farm equipment dealers.
Year-to-date unit sales of under 40 horsepower tractors were up 11% in the U.S. and almost 26% in Canada compared with last year, according to the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers.

The April report from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers also shows that sales of under 40 horsepower tractors are up nearly 11% compared with April of 2016.
