Nearly 150 attendees gathered for the event, where the association announced three new Board members and named a new Board chair. 

Exhibit space at Equip Exposition and co-located Hardscape North America are fully sold out, beating previous records. All indoor and outdoor exhibit space is sold.

The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) recently held its 2022 annual meeting, welcoming more than 100 members at the Fairmont El San Juan for three days of education and networking. Three new members were also named to its Board of Directors. 

The OPEI Battery Electric Products Committee met this week to discuss two California extended producer responsibility bills (AB-2440 and SB-1215 ) that are making their way through the legislative process — with more industry support than previous attempts.

Dennis Dix, who served for nearly 30 years as the President of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, passed away Dec. 12. A memorial service will be held March 19 in Virginia.
