The Agricultural Division of Alamo Group Inc. today announced the appointment of Tom Taylor as Vice President of Business Development. The new position will be responsible for supporting dealer development and international growth initiatives as well as OEM and brand alliances for the Alamo Ag brands, including Schulte, Rhino, Bush Hog and Herschel. John Deere Pulls Dealership from New Hampshire Company After 84 Years

Riesterer & Schnell, a John Deere dealership group with several locations in Eastern, Northeastern and now Central Wisconsin, purchased Faivre Implement's two John Deere dealerships in Stevens Point and Westfield, effective January 2, 2013.

The major shareholder of Kverneland, the Norwegian maker of farming implements, has reportedly sold its shares to Kubota, giving the Japanese tractor maker the upper hand in acquiring control of the firm.

According to a report from Reuters News Service, Kverneland ASA announced that following the disclosure of Kubota Corp.'s voluntary offer to acquire all shares of the the company, Kverneland has received a letter from CNH Global N.V.
