MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — Grasshopper is introducing its Model 900D, the largest displacement out-front diesel zero-turn mower on the market.
Its 1.3 liter, 3-cylinder MaxTorque diesel horizontal-crankshaft engine delivers the same amount of torque at lower RPM compared to previous 900 series diesel engines with better fuel economy, lower vibration and longer service life.
The integrated multi-point InFrame suspension system allows for a better ride and better-cut quality at faster mowing speeds. This is due to the balanced weight distribution among the wheels for lighter footprint on the turf.
The 900D has options for 61-inch or 72-inch low-profile out-front DuraMax cutting decks with PowerFold electric deck lift. The mower features ¼-inch thick GrassMax Marbain blades to handle a higher volume of clippings, leaves and other material for a better-cut quality at faster speeds.
The 900D has the QuickConverter capability for using implements year-round.
