LYNDEN, Wash. — After a century of strong customer service, commitment to community and outstanding machinery quality, Washington Tractor Lynden, formerly North Washington Implement prepares to move into the next century of service to the agricultural community in Washington State.

The declaration by Lynden mayor Scott Korthuis of June 3 as Washington Tractor Day was preceded by 100 years of building trusting relationships with generations of farming families, employees, and community. The celebration included a four-block parade of John Deere tractors and employee drivers from a wide range of generations, live music and community entertainment.

The celebration is the pinnacle of decades of service, integrity and hard work to provide regional farmers with the equipment and service they need to succeed in an ever-changing agricultural environment. “Our company has gone from selling horse-drawn implements to GPS guided/computer driven tractors, choppers and combines as well as lawn mowers," CEO Jim Hale stated.

Hale attributes their family of employee's hard work and strong community service to the company's long-lasting heritage of success. “We’ve lasted 100 years thanks to selling quality equipment backed by loyal and hardworking employees. But above all, we have been blessed to be in a community with hard working and loyal family farmers,” he says.
