HOUSTON — Mahindra North America (MNA) is pleased to launch a new sponsorship with Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40. Mahindra NA began its partnership with the National Radio Hall of Fame inductee in early March with commercials featuring Kingsley as a spokesperson for the brand. These spots promote the company’s tractors and utility vehicles, airing on all of Westwood One’s country music affiliates.
“Country music is a perfect fit with Mahindra North America and Bob Kingsley is the perfect voice to partner with on country radio. We are excited about this partnership and the opportunity to share the Mahindra brand with Bob’s loyal listeners,” said Cleo Franklin, vice president/CMO, Marketing and Strategic Planning, MNA. “Bob is passionate about the Mahindra brand and we appreciate him sharing his enthusiasm for the toughest tractors and utility vehicles on earth with his audience. As a landowner, Bob understands the importance of selecting the right products to help him care for his land.”
"When I'm not in the studio, I spend a lot of time working with my horses and cattle on the ranch," said Bob Kingsley, host and executive producer of the Country Top 40. "I know how well built Mahindra tractors and utility vehicles are, and I look forward to telling the Mahindra story to my listeners. I want them to know how the number one selling tractor in the world can help them get their work done."
The spots run on Country Top 40 as well as Westwood One's Country Music Formats, "24/7 NASH,” airing on more than 1,000 different country music stations throughout the country. Through his endorsement, Kingsley drives his listeners to learn more about the product and encourages listeners to visit a local Mahindra dealer. Kingsley, a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame, is the most listened to voice in country music history and has hosted country countdowns for more than four decades.
