HOUSTON — A veteran Marine Sargent received a new Mahindra mPACT XTV 750 S Camo vehicle from Rush Limbaugh and Mahindra North America (MNA). Retired Marine Corps Sargent Tom Simard is one of nearly 5,500 current and former military service members who were nominated in the Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway to win a mPact XTV 750S utility vehicle on the The Rush Limbaugh Show. Sgt. Simard received the XTV from agriculture & construction equipment dealer Chappell Tractor, located in Brentwood, N.H. Chappell Tractor, owned by Brad Chappell, hosted an event to celebrate and honor Simard. Mahindra has teamed up with Rush Limbaugh to honor a military service member for three consecutive years with the chance to win a tractor or XTV. The previous two winners each received a tractor from Mahindra.
“Mahindra’s ongoing partnership with Rush Limbaugh is a great alignment with our commitment to honor of our nation’s heroes. Providing Sgt. Simard with a Mahindra mPact XTV through the Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway. gives us the opportunity to recognize him, along with all of our service men and women, for the service and sacrifices they make every day,” says Cleo Franklin, vice president, marketing and strategic planning, Mahindra North America. “Supporting our military is a critical component of Mahindra’s Rise initiatives to drive positive change and transform lives in our communities.”
“It’s a privilege to partner with Mahindra, for a third year, to honor the brave service members of our country. Our military sacrifice much to keep Americans safe and protect our freedoms. This is a way we can acknowledge and thank them. I appreciate the time Tom gave in service to the U.S. Marines and hope that he enjoys his new mPACT XTV,” says Limbaugh.
“My wife and I have two acres of land in Epping, N.H., I can’t wait to take this camo XTV out for deer hunting and fishing. I am thankful Rush Limbaugh and Mahindra decided to honor our military, I think it’s really great,” says Tom Simard, retired marine corps sergeant and sweepstakes winner.
Ret. Sgt. Simard served in the Marines for more than four years. He was stationed in Iraq when he was tragically injured by an IED. One of Simard’s best friends, a loyal Rush Limbaugh listener, heard Rush announce the Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway and went straight to the registration page to nominate Simard.
