SELMA, Ala. — Bush Hog Inc., a division of the Alamo Group, recently held its 61st national sales meeting in Prattville, Ala. The annual meeting brings the company’s sales team together to introduce new products and sales programs for the upcoming year. It also provides “a time to share our vision for the upcoming year,” says Jerry Worthington, Bush Hog’s President. "We are proud of our entire team. We look forward to Bush Hog experiencing growth and success as we move forward,” he says.
Several new products were introduced, including the 2215 and 4815 Flex-Wing rotary cutters, three new zero-turn mowers, backhoes, wood chippers, log grapples, log splitters and RTX Tillers. “It is crucial that part of our continued growth is new product development,” says Marc Ivey, Bush Hog’s product development manager. “We must continue to grow our core product line of rotary cutters, while seeking to diversify with gap products such as these in order to compete in our ever changing marketplace,” he says.
During the annual awards banquet, Rick Raborn, executive vice president of the Alamo Ag Division, applauded the efforts of the entire team. "The Bush Hog workforce has been dedicated and committed since the Alamo Group’s acquisition in 2009. We are proud to have Bush Hog as part of the Alamo Group,” he says.
In 2016, Bush Hog celebrates 65 years of market leadership in rotary cutters and tractor attachments. The company has been located in Selma, Ala., since its inception.
