Nationally recognized dealership management consultant Bob Clements of Bob Clements Intl. (BCI) is partnering with Rural Lifestyle Dealer to offer a special consultation package for the 2016 Dealership of the Year. This will be the 10th anniversary for the one-of-a-kind program that recognizes an outstanding dealership in North America that serves the rural equipment market. Clements is a columnist and contributor for Rural Lifestyle Dealer.
The consultation package will include:
- One-day, on-site diagnostic visit
- Year-long membership in a Dealer Success Group
During the diagnostic visit, Clements will meet with the dealership owners and managers to evaluate their processes in each department. He will share best practices to improve their customer experience in each department, their employees’ performance and their dealership’s profitability. At the conclusion of the day-long meeting, Clements will create a report of items discussed and an action list for the dealership to use as it moves forward over the next 12 months.
Dealer Success Groups are groups of like-minded dealers who are seeking to reach new levels of success. The focus is to address the issues surrounding the industry and each dealer’s specific situation. Each group consists of 7-12 dealers whose managers meet online for 1 hour each month.
During the meeting, the managers share ideas with each other and with a BCI consultant via webcams. At the end of each meeting, the managers put together an action plan for their departments for the quarter and report back on their challenges and progress to the group. The meetings are an effective, low-cost way for dealerships to gain training from the BCI team and learn real-life examples from other dealers to improve individual departments and the overall dealership.
