According to Agri Marketing magazine, AGCO Alistair McLelland has been named vice president, marketing, North America reporting to Bob Crain, senior vice president & general manager, North America.
McLelland's 25 years of industry experience include: sales director Latin America, director/general manager AGCO South America (based in Porto Alegre, Brazil), managing director SAME/Duetz-FAhr North America, vice president AGCO sales & marketing North America, vice president application equipment, vice president global distribution development Challenger and most recently vice president, distribution development, North America.
The company also announced that Bill Hurley becomes vice president, sales, North America also reporting to Crain.
Bill joined AGCO in 2009 as director, marketing for hhp, seeding, & tillage and most recently served as vice president, field sales, North America. Prior to joining AGCO, he spent 20 years in various leadership positions of progressively expanding responsibilities with John Deere. Throughout his career he has been active in various local, regional, and national agricultural related organizations. Bill currently serves on the boards of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, Georgia FFA Assn., AEM Ag Sector Board, and the AEMPAC management board.
