Red Brand, the nation's leading manufacturer of agricultural fencing, has announced that the 2012 Home Grown funding initiative is underway.
Home Grown, a grass-roots program designed to raise funds for FFA chapters across the country, brings retailers together with their local FFA chapters. When a participating retailer orders Red Brand fence, $1.00 of every roll ordered is donated to their designated local chapter. By stocking Red Brand ag fence products and supporting FFA with a $750 donation, Gold-Level Red Brand retailers are eligible to offer rebates of up to $200 per household on product purchases. In addition, Gold-Level retailers receive an array of no-cost marketing tools they can utilize to spread the word about how the Home Grown initiative benefits FFA. Blue-Level retailers participating in the program will also receive a host of no-cost marketing materials to promote Home Grown.
"Red Brand is continuing the tradition of excellence that started with our FFA partnership in 1946," said Doug Wright, vice president of sales and marketing at Keystone Steel & Wire. "Home Grown presents an opportunity to be involved at the local level, connecting the community with FFA in a meaningful and lasting way. Red Brand is proud to support programs and activities that raise awareness and directly affect the lives of our future ag leaders."
Since 2010, Red Brand has partnered with hundreds of ag dealers, raising thousand of dollars in funds for more than 700 local FFA chapters nationwide through the Home Grown program. With increasing interest and participation from retailers across the country, 2012 is poised to be the most successful year to date.
