Reviewing tractor market data from Constellation Data Solutions’ November report, issued Dec. 17, tractor dealers in the U.S. and Canada experienced a combined revenue decline of 36% in November, compared to one year ago, with -20% in U.S. and -55% from Canadian tractor dealers.
Tractor Market Data encompasses 221 dealers representing 157,000 new whole goods units and combined sales of $3B.
By the Numbers
In the U.S., tractor dealer revenue decreased 20% in November, similar to declines in March and September, which were -16% and -17% respectively. January, April, July and October data shows only zero to -1% growth.
The steepest declines were reported in the data coming in from Canada, where tractor dealer revenue declined 55% in November, after seeing similar declines in March at -54%, and June at -57%; September was the only month in 2024 which showed any revenue growth (+13%).
