According to a report from the Milwaukee Business Journal, Briggs & Stratton has agreed to pay $33.65 million to The Toro Company to settle a patent-infringement case from May 2010.
The jury had previously awarded Exmark $24.3 million for the initial design infringement and also determined it was willful, awarding an additional $24.3 million, plus an additional $1.5 million and other costs to be determined.
