NAEDA Announces 2013 Dealer's Choice Award Recipients

The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) has announced the recipients of its inaugural Dealer's Choice Award. The NAEDA Dealer's Choice Awards are determined from results of dealer evaluation data collected from the association's annual Dealer Manufacturer Relations Survey. The survey asks dealers to evaluate the companies whose products they sell in key areas correlated to a dealer's operational model.

J D Equipment Contributes Over $700,000 to Charitable Organizations

J D Equipment recently presented a check for $28,000 to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research on board the annual Buckeye Cruise for Cancer this past February. This was J D’s second year presenting a check to the Spielman Fund on the Buckeye Cruise. The $28,000 they donated was raised during their annual fundraiser based on sales of new John Deere Select Series lawn tractors. They were happy to increase their 2012 donation from their 2011 total of $26,000.

Mahindra Produces Two Millionth Tractor

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Automotive and Farm Sector, the world's number one selling tractor manufacturer, rolled out its two millionth tractor from the company's Kandivali plant in Mumbai, India, on February 27, 2013. The company achieved this milestone by doubling its global production in less than a decade. The first million tractors were produced over a nearly 40-year span, beginning in 1965 with the first Mahindra tractor.

IDN, which consists of 6 US and 1 Canadian outdoor power equipment distributors, was founded in 2004 to provide a national distribution system for parts to North American dealers servicing Briggs & Stratton powered equipment.
