Kubota opens a new 45-acre distribution center in Elk Grove. The new facility replaces Kubota's former facility in Lodi to better support equipment demand.
As the second step in Yanmar's nationwide rollout plan, the 46,000 square foot facility will serve Pacific Northwest dealers, including those in Alaska, with seamless access via the strategic Seattle Port.
The company has already experienced increased access to its 1,100-strong dealer network since it began leasing space in the area in 2015. The current 765,000 square-foot leased facility will remain in operation in Logistics Park Kansas City until the new facilities are complete.
