Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the U.S. $15.4 billion Mahindra sGroup, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in October 2012. Domestic sales in October 2012 stood at 28872 units, as against 30519 units during October 2011. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in October 2012 stood at 29565 units, as against 31838 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month of October 2012 stood at 693 units.
