ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF), the charitable arm of the Equipment Dealers Assn. (EDA), announces the selection of 10 scholarship recipients for the 2020-21 academic year. The EDF scholarship was created to support the education, training and further development of current and potential employees in the equipment industry.
Scholarship recipients are awarded $1,000 from EDF which is matched by their sponsoring dealership for a total of $2,000. This year the foundation will be awarding a total of $20,000 to these well-deserving students who represent a wide variety of academic paths, from technical training to four year degrees.
“We have selected a group of remarkable men and women this year from a strong candidate pool. These 10 students stood out to the selection committee as individuals who are dedicated to agriculture, their education and their communities,” said Tom Nobbe, chairman of the EDF Board. “The foundation is proud to be able to assist them financially and looks forward to their positive impact on our industry.”
