HOUSTON – Mahindra Ag North America (MAgNA) welcomed its U.S. dealer network to Houston for the 2020 National Dealer Meeting (NDM). The meeting provided an opportunity for the dealers to interact with new President & CEO, Viren Popli and the entire senior leadership team and hear about the changes that have been implemented during Popli’s tenure. The event provided regional focus with separate business meetings for the northern and southern U.S. and brought everyone together for a Texas-themed dinner and live entertainment. The evening commenced with the reveal of Mahindra Ag’s new advertising campaign.
During the business session, the discussion turned to programs dealers can look forward to in 2020 and the long-term vision for Mahindra Ag. The dealers spent an afternoon touring the Mahindra headquarters and main assembly and distribution facility with the staff members they interact with daily. Highlights of the tour included a product review, a preview of the new assembly line to be inaugurated in February and an introduction to the Business Assistance Center, its function and process.
“For our ninth National Dealer Meeting, we brought our dealers to Mahindra’s headquarters to create a welcome home experience. With the business transformation of this past year, hosting the meeting in Houston allowed us to immerse our dealers in the changes and let them see first-hand the new direction for the company,” said Viren Popli, President & CEO, Mahindra Ag North America. “We have spent the past year laying the foundation and are excited about the future of the business. This meeting engaged our dealers in the transformation process with us.”
“This NDM was perfectly timed for me to meet our dealers and learn more about their business opportunities and challenges as I join the Mahindra team. We have a great balance of new and long-term dealer partners and I was energized by their strong partnership and loyalty to Mahindra,” said Mike Dragojevic, Vice President Sales, Service & Parts, Mahindra Ag NA. “I look forward to continuing the conversations as I travel in the coming months, implementing our 2020 strategy and planning for the continued growth of Mahindra and our dealers’ businesses.”
