WEST FARGO, N.D. — Bobcat Co., a global leader in the compact equipment industry, today officially announced a three-year partnership agreement with pro quarterback Carson Wentz.
“We are excited to have such an accomplished and principled athlete, who shares a deep connection to North Dakota representing our brand,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “Carson demonstrates perseverance, grit and a tireless work ethic both on and off the field, which truly embodies Bobcat’s standards of performance and toughness.”
Raised in Bismarck, N.D., Wentz developed into one of the most successful athletes in the state’s history. A star quarterback at North Dakota State University, he was a part of five national championship teams. Wentz has experienced considerable professional success since being a top pick in the 2016 draft.
“I wanted to partner with Bobcat knowing their values and being a North Dakota-based company,” said Wentz. “They are the most trusted brand in the industry, and they understand who I am as a person and the values I have. Partnering with Bobcat was definitely a no-brainer for me.”
Wentz enjoys an outdoor lifestyle on his personal properties. As part of the partnership, Wentz will receive a variety of compact equipment, including a Bobcat compact tractor CT2035 and attachments and implements to use on his land. Wentz plans to use Bobcat equipment to help with clearing vegetation, pushing snow, land grading and moving dirt and rock on his properties.
“I love being outdoors and being on my land with friends and family,” said Wentz. “And now, I love the fact that I’ve got Bobcat equipment to help me maintain this property so we can continue to enjoy it for generations to come. I’m excited to get out and start putting this equipment to work and to enter into a partnership with Bobcat.”
Wentz will be featured prominently within marketing efforts for Bobcat, including advertising, dealership signage and the company’s digital and social media platforms. He will make appearances on behalf of the company as well.
“With his unique combination of character, leadership and determination, we are excited to support Carson with Bobcat equipment to empower him to do more in his time off the field,” said Laura Ness Owens, vice president of marketing, communication and public affairs at Doosan Bobcat North America. “As a homeowner with acreage who enjoys working the land, he is an ideal ambassador for Bobcat’s compact tractors and equipment.”
Headquartered in West Fargo, North Dakota, Bobcat Company recently announced a new line of compact tractors, attachments and implements, as an option for farmers, ranchers and homeowners with acreage. With 15 new models, Bobcat tractors are designed to take on the challenges and chores farmers, ranchers, agriculture producers and homeowners with acreage face daily.
