LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sponsorships by exhibitors will provide a wealth of education and networking opportunities exclusively for dealers during the 2019 GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo), which is set for Oct. 16-18 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
The popular Dealer Resource Center returns with features to benefit all levels of a dealership team — from technicians to management. Many of these features are included with trade show registration. Coupled with opportunities to network and win prizes, the return on investment for dealers who attend has high potential.
Dealer Resource Center
The Dealer Resource Center is the hub for dealers at this annual event. It is the location for dealer education and technician training, as well as a place for dealers to network with peers. Open 9 AM-7 PM Wednesday, 9 AM-5 PM Thursday and 9 AM-2 PM Friday. The Center is sponsored by ARI Network Services, Inc., Mahindra Agriculture North America, Bob Clements International, the Equipment Dealers Association, Equipment & Engine Training Council and United Equipment Dealers Association.
Friday Special Report
Brian Beaulieu, one of the country's most informed economists, will present a Special Friday Report sponsored by Mahindra Agriculture North America. This free session, "More Growth - More People - More Business," is set for Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. It will provide insights on the state of the economy and how it relates to our industry to help attendees plan their businesses for the future.
High-Performance Dealer Workshops
The High-Performance Dealer Workshops, presented by Bob Clements International, the Equipment Dealers Association and United Equipment Dealers Association, will cover a variety of management topics specifically for dealers' businesses. With sessions all three days, dealers can drop in to these free workshops for a break from the show floor.
New this year, dealers who plan to attend the sessions by the Bob Clements team and want to get ahead of the game are invited to watch pre-training videos. While the videos are not required, they will provide valuable background for the content to be discussed in the sessions. Visit www.gie-expo.com/education/dealer-education/dealerworkshops for links to the videos.
Technician Testing & Certification
Technician Training & Certification is offered through the Equipment & Engine Training Council. With sessions for both basic and advanced levels, dealers have the opportunity to bring their technicians to hone their skills and increase profitability. All sessions are on Wednesday. If you have already registered for the tradeshow and you want to sign up for the Tech Training, use your registration dashboard or call Sellers Expositions, 800-558-8767.
UTV University
Back for a fourth year, the UTV University will feature proven powersports dealer training specialists in three free sessions on Wednesday afternoon. It is designed for dealers currently selling UTVs as well as those considering adding them to their lineup.
Dealer Preview
In addition to the education opportunities, dealers have access to the indoor show floor earlier than the rest of the industry. The Dealer Preview, exclusively for dealers, retailers and the media, begins at 11 AM on Wednesday. Then, beginning at 3 PM, the entire industry will be invited to visit the indoor exhibits and enjoy a welcome reception on the show floor until 7 PM.
