BATAVIA, N.Y. — Cedar Street Sales & Rentals is the go-to supplier for equipment rental, parts, sales and service. Locally-owned and operated since the mid-90s, Cedar Street offers quality products and service to their valued customers.
Adam and Connor Clark, sons of Guy and Pat Clark (the owners), have taken over much of the daily operations for the establishment. Caylin Depuy, their sister, is also part owner.
“They are doing a fantastic job of ensuring us we are on the cutting edge in every aspect of our business,” Guy said.
Cedar Street Sales & Rentals expanded their STIHL cordless section in the spring to meet an influx of cordless offerings and now offers a wide variety of cordless tools.
“We asked STIHL about expanding our battery section of our store to try to better keep up with the demand and they ended up completely redoing our entire showroom with all new STIHL displays,” Guy said. “In the words of Brian Graga, the STIHL merchandising specialist who designed and installed the new displays, ‘There isn’t a larger STIHL battery tool display anywhere in the Northeast.’”
He continued, “We always want to be at the forefront of new and innovative tools and our expanded battery department is certainly cutting edge.”
Those customers in the market for a new zero-turn mower can test the product on site in the test drive park, which is unique to Cedar Street Sales & Rentals.
“We have Cub Cadet robotic lawn mowers in stock, as well as battery-operated zero-turns and rear riders. You can watch a robotic lawn mower in action mowing our test drive park every day. It’s pretty fun to see,” Clark said.
Cedar Street Sales & Rentals will soon begin the construction of a 6,000 sq. ft. addition to the business, slated to be completed by September.
“With the new addition, we will be able to have the largest display of snow blowers or riding mowers in western New York – all completely set up and ready to go,” Guy said. “The new warehouse will also free up space so we can keep our fleet of rental equipment under cover all winter with easy access throughout the harsh winter weather.”
