HAMILTON, Ohio — A lawn equipment dealer and service shop recently opened a third location in Hamilton, Ohio, in place of a recently-closed local lawn equipment store.
Clermont County Equipment is owned and operated by brothers Bob and Gary Mount. Clermont County Equipment has two other locations, Amelia and Milford, Ohio. A location in Florence, Kentucky, is known as Pleasant Valley Outdoor Power. The dealership carries Cub Cadet, Exmark, Stihl and Aline.
The 6,000-square-foot showroom at the Hamilton, Ohio, location features outdoor power equipment, weed eaters, hand tools, power washers, protective gear and accessories, according to Jaime Lovelace, the store’s general manager.
“Anything that has to do with your lawn, we’re pretty much going to have it, from the smallest to the biggest,” Lovelace said.
There’s also a parts department and a climate-controlled service area that handles all major small engine manufacturers including Kawasaki, Kohler and Briggs & Stratton.
Clermont County Equipment is one of the top 10 Cub Cadet dealers in the nation, Lovelace said.
The business replaces Dunkelberger Lawn & Garden Inc., which closed last year. Clermont County Equipment purchased the building at auction Oct. 27 and closed on the deal Dec. 21, he said.
Former Dunkelberger Lawn & Garden owner John Dunkelberger is now the head service technician at the recently opened business.
Lovelace, who has 16 years of experience in management and sales, oversees a team of 5 employees.
“We’ll be hiring more once we get up and running at full speed,” he said.
