Having gotten its start in 1979 as an accounting software program developer for agriculture, Red Wing Business Systems quickly grew into a company that also offered accounting and payroll software for businesses. In 2001, three companies merged together to form what is now Red Wing Software: Champion Business Systems, FMS Harvest, Inc., and Red Wing Business Systems.
