Kubota Tractor Corp. is recalling approximately 121,100 zero-turn mowers, ride-on mowers and compact tractors. The recall comes after three reported incidents of consumers receiving burns from hot coolant spraying out from the overheated and pressurized coolant reservoir tank.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mowers and compact tractors and contact Kubota to receive a free replacement coolant reservoir tank cap. Kubota is contacting all known purchasers directly.
The recall, issued November 7, 2018, involves model year 2014-2018 with model numbers BX, GR, ZD and ZG, diesel and gasoline-powered zero-turn mowers, compact tractors and ride-on mowers. The model number and serial number for the units can be found on the side. The recalled units are orange and black.
