Mexico, Mo. — Sydenstricker Implement Co., a family owned and operated, full service John Deere dealer based in Mexico, Missouri, is acquiring the John Deere franchise for Columbia that was previously part of Farm Power/Lawn and Leisure. This is the 13th Missouri John Deere location for Sydenstricker.
The Columbia location at 2004 Business Loop 70 East will be a full John Deere parts, attachments, service and sales location for compact tractors, turf & utility equipment, and commercial work site products. This location will focus on the needs of all types of property owners as well as commercial landscapers and construction companies. The Columbia team consists of Sydenstricker’s employees from other locations as well as some new additions. Gary Lyon, former Mexico parts manager, is the manager of the new Columbia location.
Hours for the Columbia store will be Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 pm and Saturday 7:30-3:00 pm. Hours will change seasonally.
The Columbia location will carry ECHO handheld gas-powered products and Greenworks battery operated handheld products and mowers. The new store will also carry a large selection of John Deere licensed merchandise and toys.
