Fire officials are investigating after a fire destroyed a business in Salem, Ind., on Sunday.

The fire broke out at the Mount Outdoor Power Equipment on East State Road 56, just east of Salem, around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Mount Outdoor Power Equipment sells chainsaws, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles and lawnmowers, along with other lawn care products.

A spokesperson from the Salem Fire Department says fuel tanks are stored inside and outside the property. The business was not open when the fire broke out.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. The State Fire Marshal will investigate the fire.
