MOLINE, Ill. — John Deere redesigned its Worksite Pro pallet forks to be more durable and powerful. Available in a 45-inch (114 cm) and 60-inch (152 cm) frame for jobs of any scale, the new attachments are optimized to work with John Deere G- and E-Series skid steers and compact track loaders, and L, K-II and K-Series compact wheel loaders, as well as most competitive models.
“Knowing that pallet forks are staple attachments for our customers, we designed a better, more durable frame for years of wear and tear,” said Jessica Hill, program manager, global attachments at John Deere. “Owners and operators can have peace of mind knowing that they can transport heavy loads without worrying about damage to their materials or machines.”
Ideal for heavy lifting, the new pallet fork frames are engineered to handle up to 6,200-lb.-rated (2812 kg) forks. The new brick guard design offers added strength, and smooth surfaces offer protection against load damage. The new frames also include a load-securing “D” ring for reliable transportation of materials.
For seamless operation on the job site, the new pallet forks offer unrestricted visibility to the fork tips over previous models. Angled side corners and steps allow easy and safe side access in and out of the cab. The attachments are also compatible with the universal, self-cleaning Quik-Tatch easy attachment system. Found on all John Deere skid steers and compact track loaders (CTLs), this system allows the machine to easily add and remove the pallet forks in seconds.
The 45-inch (114 cm) frame is available with 42-inch (107 cm) and 48-inch (122 cm) tines, and rated at 3,750-lb. (1701 kg), 5,500-lb. (2495 kg) and 6,200-lb. (2812 kg) capacities. The 60-inch (152 cm) frame is available with 48-inch (122 cm) tines rated up to 6,200 lbs. (2812 kg)
