RED WING Minn. — Red Wing Software has released a data importing tool for its CenterPoint Accounting and Payroll products. CenterPoint Data Importer allows customers to import a wide variety of data, including customer records, accounts receivable transactions, general journal entries, employee records and more. The Data Importer is provided within CenterPoint products at no additional charge.

The CenterPoint Data importer is an easy-to-use tool that allows new customers to import data from a prior accounting or payroll system. It also allows current CenterPoint users to import information from outside systems into CenterPoint. The data must come from a comma delimited (.CSV) file, and users map the fields accordingly.

“We created the CenterPoint Data Importer for importing external information into CenterPoint Accounting and Payroll at the request of our customers. This will be a great help to customers, and we’ve already seen current customers streamline processes by using the Data Importer”, said Mark Machtemes, Red Wing Software business development manager.”

CenterPoint Data Importer is installed as a custom option. Current customers can install the option by either following the instructions at this link, or by contacting support. New customers can follow the same instructions and install the Data Importer during the installation process.
