North American retail sales of compact farm tractors were up in November and year-to date, according to the latest report from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers. Canada in particular showed significant gains in retail sales.
Retail sales in Canada of tractors less than 40 horsepower were up 12.5% in November compared with November 2016 and 20.2% year-to-date. Retail sales in Canada of tractors 40-100 horsepower were up 20.3% in November compared with November 2016 and 11.9% year-to-date.
Retails sales in the U.S. of tractors less than 40 horsepower were up 9.5% in November compared with November 2016 and 8.4% year-to-date. Retail sales in the U.S. of tractors 40-100 horsepower were up 10.7% in November compared with November 2016 and 0.1% year-to-date.
