The latest report from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) shows strong sales across North America for tractors less than 100 horsepower and especially in Canada.
U.S. unit sales of tractors less than 40 horsepower were up 11.8% in October compared with last year and up 8.3% year-to-date. For tractors from 40 to less than 100 horsepower, unit sales were up 1.8% in October compared with last year, but down 0.5% year-to-date.
Unit sales in Canada of tractors less than 40 horsepower were up 9.4% in October compared with last year and up 21% year-to-date. For tractors from 40 to less than 100 horsepower, unit sales were up 8.4% in October compared with last year and up 10.7% year-to-date.
