A Rural Lifestyle Dealer Staff Report
Manufacturers had a chance to show off their latest and greatest products to nearly 19,000 registered attendees, including nearly 3,500 dealers and retailers, at the 2017 Green Industry & Equipment (GIE+Expo), held recently in Louisville, Ky. The show had another record-setting year, with registrations up 13% from 2016.
What trends did we see? Manufacturers continue to expand product lineups, for instance adding zero-turn, stand-on or robotic mowers, with the goal of offering dealers and their customers a one-brand solution. Battery-powered equipment has secured its foothold in the consumer and commercial segments. And, manufacturers are finetuning the customer experience through comfort features and diagnostics.
