Year-to-date sale of 2WD under 40 horsepower tractors compared with the same period last year were up 13.9%; sales of 2WD 40-100 horsepower tractors were down 3.6%; and  sales of  2WD 100 and higher horsepower tractors were down 13.5%, according to the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers.

For the month of March compared with March of 2016, sales of 2WD 40 horsepower tractors were up 9.8%; sales of 2WD 40-100 horsepower tractors were up 1.6%; and  sales of  2WD 100 and higher horsepower tractors were down 14.9%, according to the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers.

Through March of this year, a total of 42,033 tractors were sold, which compares to 39,878 sold through March 2016, representing a 5% increase for the year.
