NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — New Holland Agriculture and Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, have teamed up to develop a new Rustler model for dealers and farmers available in 2017. The collaboration combines the expertise of the agriculture brand with Textron Specialized Vehicles’ over 60 years of vehicle manufacturing experience to deliver a high-performance utility vehicle to the market.
“This collaboration gives us a unique opportunity to bring the highest-quality product to our customers,” says Todd DeBock, New Holland’s under 60 horsepower tractors marketing manager. “We want to ensure our customers receive the best product for use in agricultural applications and beyond in order to appeal to a broader customer base. We listened to feedback and are working with Textron Specialized Vehicles to release a brand new product that aligns with the needs and wants of our dealers and customers.”
Textron Specialized Vehicles focused on the key areas of power, payload and performance to develop a high-quality product that both serves as an ag-vehicle and appeals to others beyond an ag-capacity, including rural lifestylers, hunters, and ranchers.
“We designed this utility vehicle with an unmatched suspension system to withstand the payload and rigor of heavy-duty farm chores, but also equipped it with a superior powertrain and performance features to create a vehicle that can play just as hard as it works,” says Raven Honsaker, Textron Specialized Vehicles’ Director of Product Strategy for Commercial Business.
New Holland will tease its first Textron Specialized Vehicles-produced New Holland Rustler 850 at World Ag Expo and the National Farm Machinery Show in February 2017, just weeks before its initial United States and Canadian launch.
