BEAUMONT, Texas — Modern Ag Products announces a new version of its Predator rotary cutter, which features a 12-foot galvanized deck flex wing. The new model joins a line of galvanized deck rotary cutters from Modern Ag Products. 

Chuck Pharo, general manager of Modern Ag products, says, “The 12-foot Predator is designed for smaller tractors while retaining many of the attributes of the larger flex wing cutters. This allows small tractor owners to cut like the pros at an affordable price.”

The smaller turning radius, lower overall and tongue weight and the 12-foot width allows the smaller tractor owner the ability to more effectively keep up with the farm grass maintenance. The rotary cutter features a constant velocity category 4 main driveline and category 3 wing drivelines with slip clutch protection. The model is designed for 40-70 horsepower tractors and features a 10-year deck rust through warranty afforded by the 7 gauge steel, hot dipped galvanized deck.

This model has a cut capacity of 2½ inches due to the 2-inch gearbox output shafts and all gearboxes are covered by a 5-year limited warranty. Front and rear safety chains are standard on the 12-foot Predator.
