KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As part of an aggressive growth strategy, officials of Mahindra have announced entry into the North American hay tool market, additional models to augment the current tractor line and new utility vehicle product offerings, at the company's national dealer meeting held recently in Kansas City, Mo.
Calling the strategy an "audacious goal,” Mahindra leaders unveiled a 4 x 5 net and twine round baler, 8-foot and 9-foot disc mowers and 8- and 10-wheel rakes, all to ship to dealers in February of 2016.
The equipment is provided through an agreement with the Italian-based Maschio Gaspardo group, a manufacturer of agricultural equipment with 19 production plants worldwide. The company also outlined the goal of becoming one of the "top 50 most admired brands on the globe" by 2021.
