Briggs & Stratton has redesigned its popular Electric Pressure Washer with POWERflow+ Technology for improved customer convenience. Pressure washers with POWERflow+ give users the ability to clean with both high pressure and high flow, a technological innovation exclusive to Briggs & Stratton, while the redesigned unit sports an enhanced hose storage system, enlarged detergent tank and improved wheels for easier maneuverability.
Generating up to 1800 Max PSI and four gallons per minute of water flow*, the Electric POWERflow+ model currently delivers three times more water flow than standard electric pressure washers. Improvements to the Electric POWERflow+ unit include:
-
An improved hose storage system that wraps by hand to increase ease of use and coiling.
-
A single, larger detergent tank now allows users to complete intensive cleaning tasks without refilling the soap mid-task.
-
A redesign of the wheel hub and its substructure provides increased strength while making the unit easy to maneuver from project to project.
“Not everything on the upgraded Briggs & Stratton Electric POWERflow+ model required alterations,” said Dan Roche, director of marketing for Briggs & Stratton Portable Power and Cleaning Systems. “The unit’s reliable electric motor and patented pump design, popular features of many homeowners, are unchanged. But with a few small improvements, customers will find the features on the Electric POWERflow+ model make their cleaning jobs quicker and easier to complete than ever.”
Electric units continue to feature the specially designed 26-foot hose and custom-engineered POWERflow+ gun with soft grip handle. Water then flows into the exclusive 7-in-1 nozzle. This timesaving pressure washer nozzle with one-handed use (similar to a garden hose nozzle) allows users to change from high pressure to high flow, as well as engage the soap-on-demand feature, without changing nozzles. The pump will then propel the stream up to 25 feet. In addition, the unit provides the same impact force as a 2200 PSI gas-powered pressure washer at 12 feet. The Electric POWERflow+ unit also features a fold-down handle for compact storage.
POWERflow+ Technology is also available on two gas-powered pressure washer models with reliable Briggs & Stratton Professional Series OHV Engines and features up to 3000 Max PSI in high-pressure mode and up to five gallons per minute in high-flow mode1. One unit offers a standard recoil start, while the other is equipped with Briggs & Stratton’s Push Button Electric Start, making it the company’s easiest-starting pressure washer.

*Both models tested according to Pressure Washer Manufacturer's Association (PWMA) testing procedure PWMA 101 and achieved a maximum PSI rating utilizing a 0 degree nozzle tip and maximum flow (or GPM) rating using either soap nozzle setting.
