LT Rich is proud to introduce its V-Tractor to the domestic market.  Originally developed for the Agriculture Aid International efforts in Malawi, the V-Tractor is powered by a Hatz diesel; the tractor utilizes a unique three or four wheel drive hydrostatic transmission utilizing two independent pumps and wheel motors.

The prototype unit pictured without decals is a 25hp Lombardini air cooled diesel.  For the project it was hand crank and electric start for overseas but will be introduced with a 25-32 hp liquid cooled diesel for the domestic market.  The transmission is all hydrostatic with two ranges.  Top speed low range is 7, high rang 14.  All the attachments from previous tractor will fit this unit. 

The tractor also has an 11 gpm auxiliary hydraulic pump to power attachments. The current tractor can power a 30 gpm water pump, 10 kw generator set, and cement mixer. A wide variety of attachments can be developed for additional applications. In field repairs can be made easily with a small tool kit. A simple forward reverse pedal engages the tractor with no gear changes or clutching.

New attachments being developed include a ground drive planter for planting a variety of crops from corn to beets, a utility cart for hauling produce and to aid in farm tasks. A spray system is also being developed for insecticide and fertilizer applications.
