Exmark has announced the four winners of daily drawings held during the recent National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY. In the end, it was acreage owner Tom Lefler who walked away with the grand prize – a top-of-the-line Exmark Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn riding mower worth more than $13,000.
According to Exmark Director of Marketing, Daryn Walters, the company drew one winner during each of the show’s four days.
“Each of the four winners took home a unique prize, from a $300 Carhartt gift card, all the way up to the more than $13,000 Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn mower.”
Summer Parks of Versailles, KY took home a new Exmark Commercial 21 X-Series walk-behind mower. The Commercial 21 X-Series features a powerful Kawasaki commercial engine and a 5-inch deep alloy cutting deck that delivers Exmark’s signature quality of cut.
Desiree Halcomb of Connersville, IN. won an Exmark Pioneer S-Series mower. With a 60-inch UltraCut Series 4 cutting deck, a powerful Kawasaki powerplant and infinitely variable speed of zero to nine miles per hour, the new mower will make quick work of Halcomb’s property. The standard full-suspension seat will keep Halcomb mowing in comfort.
Shane Bowman of Winchester, KY was the winner of a $300 Carhartt gift card.
Lefler’s name was drawn for the grand prize – an Exmark Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn rider. He says the 60-inch cut width and ability to cut at higher speeds will significantly decrease the time it takes to maintain his 10-acre property.
“I traveled 26 weeks last year, so the time I spend at home is very valuable to me,” Lefler said. “Less time mowing equals more time with my family, and I really appreciate that.
“There are roughly three acres of grass to mow, which took more than two and a half hours to cut with my old 48-inch mower. It’s incredible to think that, with my new Exmark mower, each pass will cut a third more grass. I’ll basically get a free pass with every third pass I make!”
The Lazer Z X-Series represents Exmark’s top commercial zero-turn mower and it includes some of the company’s premier technologies to increase productivity as well as operator comfort.
Powered by a robust Kawasaki twin-cylinder commercial engine with a heavy-duty canister air filtration system, the Lazer Z X-Series is designed to withstand the toughest use by landscape maintenance professionals. The 60-inch UltraCut Series 6 cutting deck uses a patented Flow Control baffle system to manage airflow and deliver a superior cut quality. Lefler will mow in unmatched comfort thanks to Exmark’s premier comfort seat system, which features an Iso-mount seat isolation system combined with patented Elastomeric Vibration Control material.
