Briggs & Stratton announced the launch of POWERflow+ Technology on select pressure washer models at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky. POWERflow+ is more than just a deep cleaning pressure washer, it is the only pressure washer available with both high pressure to lift dirt and high flow to easily wash it away.
It is uniquely designed to enhance the cleaning experience by providing extended reach, power soaping and faster rinsing capabilities — things standard pressure washers can’t do.
“Pressure washers with our exclusive POWERflow+ Technology have the capability to do more than any other unit on the market,” said Kimberly Raduenz, assistant marketing manager for Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washers. “Homeowners can now reach places they couldn’t with conventional pressure washers because POWERflow+ boosts water and soap up to 30 feet away in our exclusive high flow mode. The technology helps clean second story windows, eaves and gutters, and even blasts away hard-to-reach cobwebs and insect nests. POWERflow+ technology also helps save time because it minimizes the need for additional hoses, ladders, buckets and brushes to reach areas that were previously out of reach.”
The force behind POWERflow+ is in the Briggs & Stratton-designed, patent-pending pressure washer pump with two separate cleaning modes: high pressure and high flow. The high-pressure mode is ideal for cleaning the toughest stains, mildew and grime from decks, driveways and siding, while the exclusive high-flow mode delivers up to 5 gallons per minute — up to twice the amount of standard pressure washers — to power-rinse away dirt, soap and debris. The high flow mode also makes it the best pressure washer to use for washing delicate surfaces such as patio furniture, vehicles, and children’s outdoor play sets and toys.
Briggs & Stratton’s POWERflow+ technology isn’t comprised of the pump alone. Rather, the technology is a system of components working in concert to deliver the high-flow capability. Water is sent from the pump to the specially designed 30 ft. hose and into the custom-engineered POWERflow+ gun with soft grip handle. Water then flows into the exclusive 7-in-1 nozzle. This timesaving pressure washer nozzle with one-handed use (similar to a garden hose nozzle) allows user to change from High Pressure to High Flow, without changing nozzles, and propels the stream up to 30ft with the same impact force as a standard pressure washer at 15 feet.
This innovative technology is available in two gas-powered pressure washer models with reliable Briggs & Stratton Professional Series OHV Engines and features up to 3000 Max PSI in high-pressure mode and up to 5 gallons per minute in high-flow mode¹. One unit offers a standard recoil start, while the other is equipped with Briggs & Stratton’s Push Button Electric Start, making it the company’s easiest-starting pressure washer.
In addition to the gas-powered units, an electric pressure washer model is available that features up to 1800 Max PSI and up to 4 gallons per minute of water flow, which is up to three times more water flow than standard pressure washers. The unit also features dual one-quart detergent tanks and a fold-down handle for compact storage.
