The innovative STIHL M-Tronic microprocessor-controlled engine management system optimizes engine performance and compensates for changes in operating conditions, such as temperature, elevation, fuel quality, and dirty air filter.
- Microprocessor electronically controls the ignition timing and fuel metering 33 times/second.
- Eliminates the need for manual carburetor adjustments
- Excellent acceleration – electronic ignition timing and fuel metering allows quick acceleration, even after cold start.
- New technology provides a simplified start procedure, reducing the chance of flooding.
