While the new CS-590 Timber Wolf chain saw will serve as ECHO’s centerpiece at the Green Industry and Equipment EXPO (GIE+EXPO) trade show, the company also is putting a focus on chain saw power by emphasizing its most powerful top handle saw, the CS-355T, and its new highest horsepower per displacement saw, the CS-620P.
Positioned within the popular 55-60cc semi-pro chain saw segment, the ECHO Timber Wolf is targeted to the large landowner, farmer, rancher, firewood cutter and homeowner. Its professional construction and features provide high performance, easy starting, simple operation and quick maintenance. Available in 18” and 20” bar lengths, the CS-590 is powered by a 59.8cc professional-grade engine.
Weighing 8 pounds, the ECHO CS-355T chain saw has a 35.8 cc commercial grade, two-stroke engine that delivers 25 percent more power than the CS-360T. The chain saw features a palm rest that adjusts to three palm sizes, cut-outs on the dual-post chain brake handle and rear-mounted air filter.
Formally launched in July, the CS-620P is a 59.8cc high power professional chain saw targeted to professional arborists, loggers and professional firewood operations. Based on the proven CS-600P engine design but modified for more power, the CS-620P is 13% more powerful than the CS-600P. With its professional features and competitive price, the CS-620 has a sister product called the CS-620PW which features a new wrap aluminum handle to give the user more options when felling a tree.
In addition to prominence within ECHO’s indoor booth (#5184) and outdoor demo arena, all three saws plus the CS-370P with the new FasTension chain adjustment system will appear in the GIE+EXPO New Product Showcase arena.
And to add an entertainment element to this year’s show efforts, ECHO Carving Team member Bob King will be carving daily in the outdoor demo arena. Visitors who test-run an ECHO chain saw during the show are eligible to win one of King’s show carvings. King is one of three champion chain saw carvers who promote the ECHO brand in worldwide appearances and carving competitions. To see some of Bob’s work
