KIOTI announces the extension of their DKSE mid-sized tractor line to now include 13 model options.

The DKSE series is KIOTI’s main and premium line of tractors in the 35-50 horsepower range. Hobby farmers, do-it-yourselfers and other end users now have a wide selection of engine horsepower, transmission and ROPS/cab choices to meet their specific application needs, the company says in a news release.

The 13 model configurations now available are comprised of KIOTI’s DK35SE, DK40SE, DK45SE and DK50SE tractors.

These mid-sized tractors are equipped with Daedong water-cooled diesel engines, built with a balance of power, performance and fuel economy and combined with the environmental safety required to meet or exceed Tier III EPA mandates, the company says.

KIOTI’s parent company, Daedong, engineers and builds all of the primary components of their drive trains — engines, transmissions, axles, etc. This design concept enables control of the tight tolerances that ensure an optimum transfer of power from the engine to the earth.

This transfer of power allows KIOTI compact tractors to excel over competitive models, even those with higher horsepower and fuel consumption.  Rear differential locks are standard and provide extra traction.

Along with a choice of engines comes a selection of either hydrostatic or synchro shuttle transmission. According to KIOTI’s Marketing Development Manager Ron Parrish, “Some people just don’t want to be bothered with changing gears and prefer the ease of use of a hydrostatic transmission. They like simplicity of operation plus the automotive feel of just jumping in the seat and traveling forward or backwards.”

“On the other hand,” Parrish continues, “those who feel that a manual transmission allows for greater control, tend to select our quick response shuttle shift.”

For the cost consciences buyer, there is also a price advantage to the synchro shuttle, manual transmission as compared to the hydrostatic transmission, the company says.

The higher hydraulic flow of the DKSE Series translates to smoother operation and higher efficiency even in the toughest site conditions. Superb hydraulic oil filtering prevents cross-contamination between systems and overheating during work in harsh environments or under heavy load. Extremely smooth handling is achieved via a hydrostatic steering system. The system makes operation in tight quarters easy while offering a turning radius of only 9.5 feet or better with all models of the DKSE Series. For safety, wet disc brakes are standard.

At the rear of these tractors is a telescopic, CAT I, 3-point hitch with up to 2400 pounds of lift capacity to handle a wide range of implements or attachments.  A standard rear PTO with up to 37.5 hp at 540 rpm is designed to run these tools.  An optional mid-PTO is also available.

Beyond operating features, these models also offer a choice of fold-down ROPS with seat belts or deluxe cab with ROPS enclosed.  All cab models include seat belts, a heater/air conditioner, radio/CD player, cupholders and mobile phone holder, all as standard items. A fully-adjustable suspension seat ensures operator comfort over a long day’s work. KIOTI’s cab is designed for 360º visibility and a clear view of front and rear attachments and implements, even during full-lift operations.

On the maintenance level, the engine hood swings back to reveal the top of the engine for filter changes and other service operations. Side panels provide easy access to daily fluid check points.

The DKSE line of tractors carries a 4-year warranty, which has no hourly usage ceiling and applies to both homeowner and commercial use.

KIOTI's new UTV — The Ultimate Transport Vehicle — is scheduled for release this Spring.  KIOTI continually strives to develop new tractor, implement and attachment designs and other products to satisfy the farm, hobby farm, landscaping, light construction and utility construction markets.
