Ariens Co. announces its sponsorship of the 2013 Amsoil World Championship Snow Mobile Derby hosted by Derby Track of Eagle River, Wis. Ariens is the official grounds maintenance equipment manufacturer of the derby, which runs Jan. 17-20.
Ariens has sponsored of the World Championship Snow Mobile Derby for more than 10 years,” said Dick Anhalt, Ariens Company district manager. “The event is always a fun-filled weekend for the whole family, and it allows us as a company to support an international event here in our home state.”
Ariens has been a Derby sponsor since 2003. As part of the annual sponsorship, Ariens provides Derby Track with a Deluxe Sno-Thro unit for giveaway and a Gravely Pro-Turn 200 zero-turn mower for grounds maintenance throughout the year.
This year marks a celebratory milestone for both Ariens and the Derby, as 2013 is the 80th anniversary of the outdoor power equipment company and the 50th anniversary of the World Championship Snow Mobile Derby. Additionally, Ariens Company’s own Josh Wilson, director of research and development and testing, is competing in the Derby and is sponsored by the company.
