Snapper Introduces Revamped 2013 Rear Engine Rider

 

New rear engine rider builds on Snapper’s 50-year heritage of simplicity

 At the 2012 GIE+Expo, Briggs & Stratton introduced a new Snapper rear engine rider. According to the manufacturer, the revamped Snapper is easier to use, more comfortable to ride and performs better than ever before.

“Since 1962, the robust and durable Snapper rear engine rider has been the perfect product for the practical-minded homeowner,” said Troy Blewett, director of dealer channel marketing, Briggs & Stratton. “With more than 1.5 million units sold throughout the past 50 years, Snapper is known for its straight-forward approach to getting the job done faster and easier. We are proud to say that the 2013 Snapper product continues that tradition.”

The simple, dependable heart and soul of the old rear engine rider lives on in the series’ four new models. The RE100, RE110 and RE130 offer Snapper’s time-tested and classic disc drive transmission, 28" and 33" HI VAC mowing deck options, Briggs & Stratton engine, easy on/off design and a new two-gallon tank. The hydrostatic, all-steel construction of the RE210 replaces the RE200 with a 33" HI VAC mowing deck and Briggs & Stratton PowerBuilt engine. The Snapper rear engine rider also comes with a new three-year residential products limited warranty, or 90-day limited warranty for commercial use, on the unit and engine.
