Fisher Barton South Carolina Inc. announced it will invest $2 million to expand its facility in Laurens County and create 15 new jobs.

It is part of the Fisher Barton Group, founded in 1973, which has five manufacturing facilities across the United States. The company will begin hiring for the new positions immediately.

The company specializes in the production of lawnmower blades and a range of specialty metal stampings for a variety of industries, including automotive, industrial, lawn and garden, material handling, hand power tools, transportation, outdoor products and agricultural.
