DR Power Equipment introduced a new attachment for its best-selling DR Trimmer/Mower. The new DR DuraBlades allow customers to quickly swap their trimming cord for a set of blades that cut through heavier vegetation too thick or “whippy” for cutting cord.

The DR Trimmer/Mower is the original “string trimmer on wheels”, invented by the company over 25 years ago, and still leads the category in sales and reputation for quality. With the addition of DuraBlades, the versatility of this multi-purpose machine is even greater.

The new grass cutting blades feature a tough, metal cutting edge embedded in a lightweight, space-age polymer that slices through light brush and brambles up to 3/8" thick.  To provide high performance cutting power with minimal extra weight, the DuraBlades utilize the high speed and centrifugal force supplied by the DR Trimmer/Mower’s powerful engine.
