COSHOCTON, Ohio, February 27, 2012 — Finton Equipment will close its Coshocton store on March 16 after more than 45 years in business.
The closing is due to changing business conditions in the Coshocton market and John Deere's dealership location strategy which no longer includes a Coshocton store, according to a news release.
The Coshocton business will be absorbed by Finton's Zanesville store which is being sold to JD Equipment of London, Ohio. Zanesville will be JD Equipment's eighth store location in Ohio.
Kevin and Kent Finton, along with most of the current staff, will join the Zanesville store.
