During a four week road tour, Cub Cadet unveiled its new, next generation of advanced commercial zero turn riders to its 1500 dealers. Dealers had a chance to see and test drive the new TANK SZ Commercial and TANK LZ Commercial zero turn riders.
The Cub Cadet TANK LZ and TANK SZ Commercial zero turn riders include exclusive, ground-breaking technology.
The TANK SZ (which denotes Steering wheel Zero turn) delivers incredible maneuverability, turf protection and remarkable traction — even on steep inclines - due to Cub Cadet’s exclusive 4-wheel steering technology (patented as Synchro Steer Technology).
The TANK LZ (which denotes Lap-bar Zero turn) features the industry’s most intelligent and responsive lap bar system — the only lap bar system that allows for a full range of adjustability and rider egress regardless of position.
The all-new TANK LZ and TANK SZ zero turn riders both boast commercial features like:
- Advanced cutting system: next generation sloped-nose deck design system includes re-optimized and reinforced pulley, belt and drive system, smooth arc overlapping blades, and a high-velocity airflow dispersion design.
- Lifetime warranty on the frame: Cub Cadet’s Extreme Duty Rail Frame™ is a full-length, beam rail system that delivers unsurpassed strength, stability and precision. It is stronger than tube frames and features 3/8” steel — the thickest on the market.
- Efficient, high-performance power train available: new generation 14cc TorquePack drive system delivers Cub Cadet’s unsurpassed, professional quality-cut at high speeds, steep inclines and in thick, wet grass.
- Advanced driver ergonomics and controls: EVC (elasticity vibration control) seating system, intuitive controls, power steering, tool-free adjustability of lap bar controls and tilt capability on steering wheel column promise remarkable all-day comfort.
After two years in the making, Cub Cadet took the new TANK LZ and SZ Commercial zero turn riders on a four-city tour covering thousands of miles and packing 11 semi trucks with Cub Cadet riders.
Cub Cadet’s new state-of-the-art commercial line of zero turn riders will be unveiled to the industry and professionals at the upcoming Green Industry Expo (GIE) event in Louisville, KY, October 27 – 29. Both riders will be available to the public in March to test drive at one of Cub Cadet’s 1,500 dealers nationwide.
