?AG CONNECT Expo 2013 to be held in Kansas City, January 29-31
The next AG CONNECT Expo will be January 29-31, 2013 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. AG CONNECT Expo offers a preview of what’s to come in agriculture in the next several years through new technologies, advanced practices, and operating efficiencies that improve quality and yield. AG CONNECT is also known for one-on-one access to leading senior executives as well as industry and education experts on key issues affecting agriculture.
Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is the owner and producer of AG CONNECT Expo; AEM designed the event to be the global trade show in North America for innovative producers and other agribusiness decision makers seeking cutting-edge technology and information.
Launched in 2010, the show is now on a biennial schedule synchronized with Agritechnica, the global agriculture trade show in Hanover, Germany, owned by the German Agricultural Society, DLG. The two global agriculture trade exhibitions - Agritechnica in Europe and AG CONNECT Expo in North America - coordinated timing of their show dates for the convenience of exhibitors and attendees with global business interests.
"Agriculture today is increasingly global, and AG CONNECT Expo is a global trade show offering industry professionals the best information and the best people possible, without boundaries," said Tim Merrett, vice president region 4 marketing for Deere & Company and AG CONNECT Expo 2013 chair. "We have succeeded with this goal and will continue to provide a quality gathering place for sharing global agricultural ideas and management trends."
AG CONNECT Expo has a producer satisfaction rating of over 92 percent among past AG CONNECT attendees. The show’s management committee has planned to vary location of AG CONNECT Expo at least for the next few cycles to allow as many producers as possible to experience first-hand the value of the exposition.
AEM is known for its philosophy that produces world-class shows that are run by the industry and for the benefit of the industry. Strategic oversight by a show management committee of equipment manufacturers and other key agribusiness companies ensures that industry needs are met.
"This is a major advantage for AG CONNECT attendees and exhibitors who are looking for a maximum return on investment for their show participation," Merrett said.
The distinctive features of the AG CONNECT trade show model will be present in Kansas City:
- Personal access to exhibiting company executives in booths
- One-on-one dialogue with technical experts/engineers in booths
- Experts delivering high-caliber education on the most pressing issues in agriculture
- A glimpse into the future through executive insights, new technologies
- A professional-grade trade show environment
