STIHL Inc. delivered a lineup of new products during Equip Expo 2024. Following its debut of zero-turn and push mowers at last year’s event, the company debuted the AZA 700 Series of battery-powered stand-on mowers during the Oct. 15-18 conference.
Built for all-day commercial use, and capable of mowing up to 21 acres or running, the company says the new product series features a 24 kWh lithium-iron battery, offers cutting deck widths of 48 inches, 52 inches, and 60 inches, has a top speed of 14 mph, HMI touch-screen display, and an impressive run time of up to eight hours on a single charge.
STIHL also announced newcomers to its push mower lineup with the addition of five battery models and two gas models, as well as an ever-expanding lineup of professional-grade battery tools – including the new BRA 500 and 600, STIHL’s most powerful blowers yet, rivaling the BR 600 and 700. The company also noted its comprehensive range of charging solutions, tailored to meet the evolving needs of professionals — overnight, on-the-go, and at the jobsite.
Additionally, the company recently introduced its latest innovation in battery charging solutions, the ProPower Hub. This intelligent charging management solution can sequentially charge up to 30 batteries overnight using a standard 120V/15A circuit, providing optimal power for most crews to operate for a full day.
At this year’s Equip Expo, STIHL recognized the contributions of over 10,000 authorized STIHL Dealers who service customers across the U.S. “This year, we proudly celebrate fifty years of manufacturing in America, and that would not have been possible without the unparalleled service and support from our ever-growing network of STIHL Dealers,” said Chris Keffer, STIHL Inc. President and CEO. “We are dedicated to providing them with the resources and tools they need to grow their businesses, including training, sales support, and expanded Ecommerce solutions.”
